SHOOTING FOR: Her Waves - A small Carlsbad based brand who’s mission is to support creative women in and out of the water. Surf and lifestyle orientated with a focus on elevating women, artists and disrupting the way that women are represented in the surfing industry. www.herwaves.com

SHOOT TYPE: Individual / Small Group (1-2 Women). Open Studio/blank wall apparel shots and lifestyle shots in downtown Encinitas. Still image and basic short video clips. Approx 1.5hrs. Available throughout the day 10am - 11.30am, 12noon - 1.30pm, 2pm - 3.30pm
SHOOT THEME: Basic studio styled shoot to capture the apparel pieces on a variety of body shapes and types. Also apparel pieces shown in everyday settings in our beautiful beach town of Encinitas.
LOOK & STYLE: Utilizing the current Her Waves artist exhibition backdrop in Perspective space as a canvas for showcasing new Summer 22 apparel styles and new Aloha Shirt and Shorts sets. Basic image shots and video try ons for showcasing the size range and graphics on tees.
Accessorized with sunglasses, and beachy/boho bracelets. Natural makeup styles (no bold lipsticks), natural hair in your usual everyday style. Longer hairstyles may be requested to put in ponytail for some shots. Footwear - barefoot, flipflops or vans/converse style shoes. No large branded labels/logos
PROPS: Thunderbolt/Firewire Sunkist Surfboard, Basic black stool, white backdrop, art from Her Waves artists, plants, vintage camera.
WHAT TO BRING/OTHER INFO: Please wear comfortable underwear that can be worn with a t-shirt without showing straps or patterns. T-Shirt bra or plain bikini top that you are comfortable in to change tops wardrobe. Pop up changing tent available, bring a towel for quicker changes.
Bring 2-3 pairs of plain (not patterned) pants or shorts - whatever you are most comfortable in: i.e light colored demin, linen, corduroy, cotton. See product images below for an idea of what you’ll be pairing with the bottoms.
Any cute beach or boho accessories you may have and love!

Parking is available for free in downtown Encinitas along 2nd street and surrounding blocks. Some parking spaces have a 2hr max time. Please be sure to check when parking.
You know what fits your body type, shape best and most comfortably. If you have surfboard/s and skateboard/s that you are comfortable carrying (surf) and riding (skate) bring them along with you. Cute accessories/jewelry always welcome. We will have a large and varied selection of props, accessories & wardrobe available also. Drinks and snacks provided
